Oh painful love

There is a flutter beneath my breast.

I am thinking of you- your smile, the feel of your body against mine. The light touch of your ruby-red lips on my cool cheek. Your warm, full-hearted hug when you put your arms around my neck and cling on to me, like there is no tomorrow, like we are the only people who could be.

This love, born of loving you, it fills me with painful joy, overflowing my heart, a torrential stream of unbearable love that makes me ache.

I ache as I think of you. It is my heart, soaring and threatening to burst out from within me, to fly to you, to where you are, my little faun.
