At peace

The air is still. But it is cool. My skin is cool, and I have never felt much more at peace than I do at this very moment. Breathing in the fresh, crisp mountain air. Solitude. Oneness with nature. Away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The brook that runs beneath me hides nothing. Little fish. Pebbles and rocks. The water flows quickly, musically, even. It is so quiet that the only sound I hear is the running water. And the deep thump-thump, the┬ábeating of my heart. I can hear my blood flowing through my veins, carrying a life force greater than anything I had ever imagined. I close my eyes, a wave of pleasantries and pretty thoughts run in my mind. I need this. This reminds me of the new book I am now reading. It is called A New Earth, Awakening to Your Life’s Purpose .Was there every such beauty in this world? I honestly don’t think so. For once, I feel completely alive. I think I can do anything, I really do. I’ve never been this happy. Have you been this happy? You will never know how happy happy is until you are in my shoes.
